New Directors & Officers Liability Facility


We are pleased to share a new Directors & Officers Liability Facility developed in cooperation with our one of the top A rated secuities, providing pre-agreed underwriting capacity for eligible risks across selected Latin American territories.

This facility is effective immediately and is structured as a quote facility, designed to support the placement of qualifying commercial private company D&O risks within a defined underwriting framework.

The facility has been developed for SME and Middle Market business and provides capacity of up to USD 5,000,000, with pre-defined premiums and limits available through established pricing grids.

This solution has been designed to provide an efficient and practical option for placing private company D&O risks, particularly where clients seek access to strong security, streamlined underwriting, and predictable capacity within a structured framework.

The facility supports:

  • Private, non-state-owned commercial companies only

  • SME segment (Turnover below USD 200M)

  • Middle Market segment (Turnover below USD 1B)

  • Primary and Excess placements

  • 100% reinsurance support up to USD 5M per layer

  • Co-reinsurance structures possible for layers above USD 5M

  • AIG 360 and/or similar wordings can be considered

Key underwriting parameters include:

  • Minimum 2 years trading history

  • No US exposure, except where US revenues are below 5% of total revenues

  • Clean warranty statement and related financial criteria required

  • Risks subject to territory eligibility and excluded industry screening (NAIC exclusions apply)

  • Sensitive risks excluded

  • Financial Institutions excluded

  • Public companies excluded

Country-specific exclusions apply in certain jurisdictions, including Colombia, Panama, Bolivia, El Salvador, Argentina and Ecuador, subject to placement structure and applicable requirements.

We believe this facility can provide a valuable additional solution for private company D&O opportunities in the region, particularly for risks requiring efficient access to capacity within a disciplined underwriting structure.
